New section added to Bookstore

Posted by johndilbeck on Tuesday, September 30 2003 at 9:24 AM

Today, I added another new section to my bookstore. This week Amazon.com started offering Sporting Goods where you can purchase from thousands of products from over 50 suppliers. You can also purchase collectibles and memorabilia from the MLB, NASCAR, NBA, NCAA, NFL, and NHL Fan Shops. Show your support for your favorite teams. We offer shirts, jackets, jerseys, hats, caps, and much more in the Fan Shops.

I should have called it my megamall, because my bookstore offers much more than books, now. There, you can find movies (DVDs and VHS), computers, computer peripherals, electronics, toys, games, music CDs, software, and much more. Visit the Bookstore today to see what all is available. If you don't see what you want, you can search by title, subject, key word, director, author, actor, product, and just about anything you can think of.

Just remember to select the section you want to look through. For instance, if you're looking for a movie, choose DVD or Videos from the drop down box, or it will probably default to books.

Earlier this month, I added Actors and Actresses where you can find your favorite movies featuring nearly 1,000 actors, actresses and directors, Country Music and Rock and Roll Music. Each of these music sections feature over 100 musical artists or groups.

Whenever you purchase from my bookstore, your selection will be shipped to you by Amazon.com. You'll have full access to all their customer service, used and out-of-print products, and other features you've come to expect from Amazon.com. It will not cost any more to purchase from my store than it will to purchase directly from them, and I'll earn a small commission on anything you purchase. You'll be supporting JohnDilbeck.com and I appreciate your support.

Don't forget, the Sporting Goods section of my store has many items that will make great gifts for the sports nuts around you.

Will Ken Evoy raise the price of Site Build It?

Ever since the introduction of Site Build It!, the price has remained steady, but more and more features have been added. With the upcoming release of Form Build It! (which reportedly will include unlimited autoresponders), it looks like the price of a Site Build It! website will increase and it may be a substantial increase.

People have been asking why the price is so low if all the features work as advertised. It looks like that question may be answered soon, if the price does increase.

If you've been considering purchasing a Site Build It! account, this may very well be the time to do so.

Why pay $100 or even more than you'd have to pay now?

Even if the price doesn't increase (and I don't know for sure that it will), the current price is a bargain any way you look at it.

For more information, see my Complete Site Build It! Reference Center.

Ken's already announced that he'll be closing the 5 Pillar Club in the near future -- as he always said he would -- and if you'd like to learn about Internet marketing from one of the masters -- for free -- don't miss your chance to join his outstanding affiliate program. I'm almost positive it will close before the end of 2003.

As I've stated many times before, I have learned more about Internet marketing and selling from Ken Evoy than all other sources combined. I'm a very happy customer and a proud 5 Pillar Club member.

I'm happy I locked in the price of the new website I'm currently building using Site Build It! before the price goes up.

What about you?

Real-time DSL, Frame Relay, T1 and DS3 quotes

Last week, ShopforT1.com announced a new way to shop for high-speed digital lines that can be used for data, voice, or integrated voice/data. Now, you can enter a few pieces of information and get a real-time quote from industry standard providers.

I remember a few years ago when we were negotiating for T1 lines when we were building Grove.net (now Webworkz.com). It tooks weeks to get prices from the various providers such as Sprint, MCI, UUnet and others. And, then, I was never sure if the price I was quoted was their best price or just an opening gambit for negotiations. I would have loved to have a website like this so I could get a quote in minutes rather than weeks. And, on top of that, they offer a price guarantee.

If you're thinking of moving up to DSL or fractional T1, this would be a good place to get a quote. Even if you decide to purchase from some other company, this can only help your negotiating position.

Of course, since I'm a rep for this company (through Cognigen), I'm hoping you'll purchase your high-speed digital line through my site. If you need technical assistance in deciding what you need, we have a team standing by to help you.

I'd also like to remind you that our Best Rate Calculator offers competitive quotes on long-distance service through a variety of providers and my Cognigen site offers many other telecom-related products and services such as dial-up Internet access, phone cards, cellular phone service, webhosting, domain registration, and much more.

Getting competitive quotes and shopping for voice and data services has never been easier -- plus, you'll probably save money in the process!

Business Opportunities

Most of my business efforts these days relate to selling products and services on the Internet. I'm devoting my full time efforts to learning more about Internet marketing and building my businesses.

I've opened a new Business Opportunities section here at JohnDilbeck.com. I'll be passing along information about several top-of-the-line business opportunities in this section.

My criteria for a good business opportunity include: must be able to make significant money in an ethical manner selling products and services that have true value; must offer significant training resources for affiliates; must offer recurring income; and must provide a method for helping others.

I'll be including articles written by myself and others as well as links to training materials and other resources.

Come help me build a sales organization. Working together, we'll help each other succeed.

Auction Sellers...

I opened a store at eBay a couple of years ago to sell my handcrafted Steel Roses That Never Wilt (tm). Because of medical problems in the family, I've not been able to make any Steel Roses for over a year, but hope to again one day.

In the meantime, I keep the store open and help my friend, Arch Avary, sell his beautiful handcrafted pendants.

I've been frustrated trying to sell handcrafted products on the Internet for several reasons. Mainly, there are many more sellers trying to sell their handicrafts over the web than there are buyers and it's difficult to build traffic to your store or website. I've been working at this for years and I've researched thousands of keywords and key phrase combinations. Some work okay, but most just don't draw any traffic.

One of the benefits of selling on eBay is that they've generated lots of buyer traffic, but there are also lots of competitor sellers. So, even with millions of buyers, they are spread thin.

I've been looking for a way to build more traffic to the sites I manage that sell beautiful handcrafted arts and crafts, and over the winter I'm going to open a new site using SiteSell's Site Build It. They've proven that their integrated webhosting and Internet marketing product can build sites that draw lots of traffic and buyers. So, I'm going to expand my auction and help some of my friends in the Murphy, NC area sell some of their products. This is in addition to the other site I'm building using Site Build It that I'm not ready to talk about, yet.

Do you sell products via auctions? Every month, I'm putting up a variety of products and I have to pay eBay for the store, for every auction I list, and a portion of every sale I make. This adds up over time. And, what if eBay raises their prices or changes their policies so that I'm negatively affected? Will it be worth continuing? And, what about all those eBay visitors. I never know who's viewing my products. How can I build a mailing list and/or contact them directly to help convince them to purchase from me.

The answer is simple. I can't.

So, I've decided to find a better way to marked the handmade products and I'm going to use Site Build It to do the hard work for me. I'll keep you apprised of how it works for me over the next year or two.

Are you an auction seller? How would you like to diversify your business, earn extra income from other streams and build an auction business that you own, rather than one that owns you?

Take a look at how Sitesell can help you grow and expand your auction business. I haven't found a better solution anywhere.

I'm convinced that it will help me and my friends. Perhaps it will work well for you, too.

Over the last couple of weeks, I've added about 1,200 pages to my bookstore.

New sections include Actors and Actresses where you can find your favorite movies featuring nearly 1,000 actors, actresses and directors.

In the music section, I've added Country Music and Rock and Roll Music. Each of these sections feature over 100 musical artists or groups.

I hope you enjoy shopping in the expanded bookstore, and I truly appreciate your business.

Have you ever heard of CafePress? Did you know you could design full-color artwork, open a free account, upload your art, set your price (anything above the base price earns you a commission), and sell you artwork on about 50 products?

Your artwork can be anything from your company logo to original masterpieces -- as long as you have the rights to use the artwork.

The real beauty of this is not what you do, but what CafePress does. They take your orders, manufacture the products as they're ordered (no minimums!), ship them to your customers worldwide, handle all the payment processing, and deal with all customer support. Then, after doing all that for you, they send you checks for your commissions.

This is ideal if you want a few products to promote your business, school, club, organization, or hobby and don't want to purchase dozens of items at a time. Print up special items for reunions and home-comings. Make a t-shirt showing your kids or grandkids excelling at what they do.

I've frequently purchased something from my store, and given it as a gift to someone. I've worn the shirts promoting my businesses and handed out business cards when someone asks me about what it means.

I have been selling products there for several years and you can see my shop at cafeshops.com/johndilbeck or at Shirts-Mugs-Hats.com. While I don't earn a lot from this, I do receive regular checks that add one more stream of income, and -- in the process -- I advertise my other sites.

There's never any set-up fee, processing fee, inventory fee or anything else. All of that is covered in the base price of each item.

Standard products include: Baseball Jersey, White T-Shirt, Ash Grey T-Shirt, Golf Shirt, Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Jr. Baby Doll T-Shirt , Women's T-Shirt, Hooded Sweatshirt, Sweatshirt , Boxer Shorts, Classic Thong, Camisole, Infant/Toddler T-Shirt, Infant Creeper, Bib, Large Mug, Mug, Stainless Steel Travel Mug, Stein, Tile Coaster, Tile Box, Mousepad, Wall Clock, Teddy Bear, Lunchbox, BBQ Apron, Flying Disc, Baseball Cap, Black Cap, Sticker (Oval), Sticker (Rectangular), Bumper Sticker, Wall Calendar , Calendar Print, Greeting Cards (Package of 6), Postcards (Package of 8), Mini Poster Print, Small Poster, Large Poster, License Plate Frame, Tote Bag, Messenger Bag and Book.

Other items are available seasonally and for premium accounts. If you want a premium site like I have (where you can sell multiple items with multiple designs), there is a low monthly fee.

Of course, you don't have to sell all of these products. You can pick and choose the ones that fit your needs and create and sell them.

Open your free account today and start selling your products!

5 Pillar Club to be closed

The 5 Pillar Club will be closing soon!

In late August, 2003, Ken Evoy announced that the time is approaching when the bottom 10% or so of inactive affiliates will be dropped from the 5 Pillar Club and the club will be closed to new applicants. He's hinting heavily that this will happen before the end of 2003. If you want to participate in the best affiliate program on the planet, you may want to join now and get started with it.

He's always said the opportunity won't be available forever.

SiteSell's 5 Pillar Club is the best affiliate program on the planet. Check it out and see the investment in time and care that they put into the information and tools they offer their affiliates. I've joined over 500 affiliate programs over the last three years, and there is just no comparison. No other affiliate program comes even close to offering the support and training that you can get for free from Ken's 5 Pillar Club. And the real beauty of it is that you're going to be promoting great products at great prices.

You can be a part of the team by making the decision to apply to the affiliate program, study the materials, and just get started. Don't delay.

Which of the following is most important to you?

The opportunity to presell established, highly-regarded, affordable products that OVERdeliver?

Lifetime high commission levels?

The online 5 Pillar Club, and its detailed accounting section and Marketing Toolbox?

The fast and superlative Customer Support dedicated to customer success?

Hands-on proven educational resources like the Getting Started Action Guide and the 5 Pillar Manual?

Ongoing communication through the Five Pillar Club Affiliate Report?

Register today to become an affiliate and be a part of my 5 Pillar Club Affiliate Team, before it's too late.

Ken has always promised that he would close the 5 Pillar Club so that active affiliates would have the opportunity to build real businesses.

Now that Site Build It! is reaching critical mass (see The Complete Site Build It! Reference Center for more information), the opportunity has never been better for 5 Pillar Club members.

Don't miss this opportunity!

Complete Site Build It! Reference Center

As I've been discussing for the last few weeks, I'm planning a new site that will be hosted by Sitesell's Site Build It!, a hosting service unlike any other I've seen.

Every time I turn around, they're adding new features to their webhosting and marketing tools and the price stays the same.

Using the keyword research tools, over the last three weeks or so, I've found various niches that I'll be entering on several of my current sites, as well as opportunities for the new site that I can't talk about, yet.

Today, I added a new Complete Site Build It! Reference Center to JohnDilbeck.com to make it convenient for you to see the entire width and depth of this webhosting and marketing solution.

Even if you're not interested in a new webhosting service, you might be interested in the free resources listed at the bottom of the Reference Center.

If you want to sell anything using the Internet, you owe it to yourself to take a few minutes and to go through this reference center and see how Sitesell's extraordinary web selling solution can benefit you.

I also maintain my Does Your Site Sell? page that discusses the benefits of several of the Sitesell products. I'm a very happy customer and I'm happy to recommend Ken Evoy and his products and services to you.
