It looks like I'll be able to get back to smithing on a very part-time basis next month.
It's been a year since Mom's surgery and she remains cancer-free. She's still having trouble walking and needs care on a daily basis. That's my first priority. However, she's able to walk more than she could, and can move around the house with no assistance, so that frees me up to get out of the house for a few hours here and there.
So, that means that I'll be able to make a few steel roses every month over the spring and summer. I have a waiting list that I'll work to clear in April and I'll start taking new orders in May.
For those of you on the waiting list, thanks for your patience. I should be able to ship your roses before the end of April.
For those of you who have asked me to engrave glass objects, I'll also work to clear that waiting list over the next couple of weeks. I don't know how much glass engraving I'll do this year. It depends on the demand and the demand for the steel roses.
I'm still going to be spending the majority of my available work time working on the computer and building several home businesses. I'll have more to say about that in the near future.
I'm looking forward to getting back to some smithing and creating several steel roses over the next several weeks.

g{? a long three months of working around the clock moving all my sites to a new server and updating them.
I finished the job a few minutes ago. I've updated thousands of pages and uncountable links. I updated hundreds of links that had changed and deleted dozens that have disappeared.
As much as I could, I tried to make everything current.
The bookstore script was updated a couple of weeks ago and I think I've modified all of the links to work with the new system.
Now that this is done, I'll be working on creating three new websites over the next couple of weeks.
More to come as I can announce it.

For the last several days, I've been working to update the Directory section. I found quite a few broken links and either updated or removed them. There may still be a few left. If you happen to run across a broken link on my site, I'd really appreciate it if you'd let me know.
I added a few pages, and will be adding more in the next few days.

I've spent the last few days expanding and updating the Appalachian Heritage Crafters website.
You'll find links to shows we'll be hosting this year as well as shows and festivals hosted in surrounding towns.
We're updating our member information and there will be more there in the coming weeks.
You can always go to the site and click on the What's New? link on any page to see the latest news and developments on the site.
Bookstore Update: Music features tracks

I just updated my bookstore.
The database feed from Amazon.com has not included music tracks on CDs because they were facing a copyright problem that they've been working to resolve.
Finally, it's done and I updated my program so that you can see the list of music tracks on the vast majority of the music CDs that are available.
It makes it much easier to find the CD you'd like to purchase.
Visit the Top Selling Music section of my bookstore and see for yourself. Just click on the album title that you like and you'll see a page of detailed information about the CD, as well as a button that allows you to purchase it right from Amazon.com.

Angel Food Ministries - A Food Ministry With A Servant's Heart

(Murphy, NC) The First United Methodist Church of Murphy, NC is working with Angel Food Ministries to provide food as part of their ministry to the community.
Starting in February, the youth group at the church will be helping distribute the Angel Food in Murphy, NC. Previously, anyone participating had to go to a distribution point in Georgia or Tennessee. They're working hard to get more people to participate. You're invited.

Now, you or someone you want to help can be blessed with a wonderful box of fresh meats, fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, and staple items. There is no income requirement.
