New website for phone services and Internet access
Posted Thursday, October 23, 2003 by johndilbeck

If you've been visiting my site for very long, you know how much I admire Ken Evoy and all the products and services he and his company offers. I've learned most of what I know about marketing on the Internet from Ken and his excellent ebooks. (See Does Your Site Sell? for more information.)

I've been recommending his strangely-named, but outstanding Site Build It! service/product for months. I don't know of any other webhosting service that offers the features that this one does and it is specifically designed for building a business on the Internet that successfully sells products and services.

I've wanted to build a site using Site Build It! for a long time and things fell into place a couple of months ago so that I could purchase an account and start working on a site concept with excellent potential for earning significant residual profits.

Over the last two months, despite being sick for several weeks, I managed to research over 10,000 different keyword and key phrase combinations. Using the research and evaluation tools in Site Build It!, I was able to decide on the concept for the site and then to axe, chop, and prune this list to a little over 700 of the key phrases most likely to result in lots of targeted visitors. In addition to finding phrases that many of you are looking for, I was able to find those phrases that had fewer competitors, so that I could start defining the niche in which I wanted to build my site.

High demand and low competition means potential for profits.

A couple of weeks went by when I didn't feel like working on the site, or much of anything else, and I'm just now getting around to building it.

Business and Residential Phone Services will be designed to compete in an industry with lots of people looking for the services and lots of other sites seeking to sell to them. I could have chosen an industry that was less competitive, but I feel like I've found several unserved niches in that industry that I'll offer my services to. Of course, I'll offer some of the same services that lots of others are offering, too.

I decided to build the site and compete in the telecom industry because I think that will be a good test of just how well Site Build It! will help me get good search engine results and build traffic over the coming months.

I'm aiming to build a site that will rank in the top 100,000 sites on the Internet (based on Alexa traffic rankings) and which will bring a full-time income within two years.

(To put this in perspective, JohnDilbeck.com has been live for nearly three years and hovers in the low 300,000 range according to Alexa. GeorgiaDragRacing.com had a ranking of over 2 million last year and now ranks around 600,000 and continues to get a better ranking each month. Not bad for a niche site, but I think it'll eventually get to around 300,000 or so.)

I'll keep you informed of how things are going.

The new site went live on October 15, 2003, and as of today only has four pages and hasn't been indexed by any of the search engines. It will not be nearly as huge as JohnDilbeck.com nor GeorgiaDragRacing.com, and it will be targeted at the key phrases that I think will be most profitable.

If you're looking for cellular phones, high speed Internet access, long distance service, telephone calling cards, conference calling services, computers, office supplies, and other related phone services, please visit Business-Residential-Phone-Services.com and purchase what you need.

We'll do our best to offer outstanding products and services at competitive prices along with good customer service. I want your business. Drop in for a visit when you get the chance.

I succeed by helping you succeed.

Reduced prices for discount labels, discount rubber stamps and more
Posted Sunday, October 12, 2003 by johndilbeck

I've decided to reduce my prices on all products in my Custom Printing Online store. From now until the end of the year, prices have been slashed from their already-discounted levels. In many cases, it amounts to a 2-for-1 sale.

For instance, you can get 1000 business cards for just slightly more than I was charging for 500 a few days ago, and the price will go back up in early January. How does getting 1,000 flat-printed one-color business cards for under $30.00 sound? Two color, and even full-color, cards are available, as well.

If you're looking for rubber stamps and accessories, all kinds of labels, bumperstickers, post-it notes, stationery, post cards, business cards, and much more, this is the time to buy.

Plus, we're running a special on labels in addition to the greatly-discounted prices.
