Welcome to John Dilbeck Musings, where I write about “whatever strange and wonderful ideas tickle this big brain of mine.”
While I will rarely talk about religion or politics, if I do, it will be in this blog and only this blog. All the rest of my blogs are niche oriented and are related to Cherokee County, NC, or various online and offline businesses I promote.
JohnDilbeck.com has no visible or discernible topic and is a site where I experiment with a variety of things, and which may change at any time.
This blog, John Dilbeck Musings, started originally at Blogger.com and was housed at johndilbeck.blogspot.com. When I started running into problems with using Blogger in December, 2005, I started what has been a nine month project of moving all my blogs from blogger.com and blogspot.com and creating a network of domains which I own and control. I’ve tried a variety of platforms for powering these blogs, but I’ve now decided to use only Manilla at John Dilbeck And Friends and WordPress for all the rest.
I’ve signed up at several dozen blogging sites to test their offerings and I’ll continue, sporadically, to post to some of my blogs that rank well in the search engines. Most of my efforts, however, will be directed to finding helpful tools, information, and resources, and I’ll be telling you about them on my network of blogs.
My primary blogs are John Dilbeck And Friends and John Dilbeck Musings.
