Ordering Your Rose...Please Note: I am not taking any orders for steel roses while I am taking care of my mother. I would love to make a rose for you, but I just don't have the time right now. I'll post a notice when I can resume smithing. As always, first paid, first shipped. I don't accept more than 10 orders in advance, I don't do rush orders and you can't break in line by offering more money. Orders can be placed via email or snail mail. I'm difficult to reach by phone, but sometimes you can catch me. Please don't call before 9:00am or after 9:00pm Eastern. If you don't like it for any reason, send it back in the shape you received it, and I'll refund your full purchase amount. (See Returns, below.) Brief personalized inscriptionsI'll be happy to add a personalized inscription, if you like. I have enough room for three short lines of text, not to exceed about 15 characters per line. Note: this is not engraved, it is hand inscribed. Space is limited, so your inscription must be concise. ReturnsSo far, there have been no returns nor requests for refunds, and I'm working hard to keep it that way. I want you to be happy with your purchase. However, there may come a day that someone will not like what they receive, and if that someone is you, you must follow these procedures to receive your refund. When returning the item, you must mail it via USPS priority mail with insurance and delivery confirmation tracking. After inspecting the returned item, I'll refund your purchase price, but not the shipping. I pay all shipping costs to get it to you, and you must do the same to return it. Items that are damaged in shipping must be declared to the United States Postal Service. If the box is damaged, take it to the Post Office to open it so you'll have a witness as to the condition you received it. I do my best to pack them carefully, but there may come a day when one is damaged in shipping. If you have any questions about any of these terms, please contact me and we'll discuss it. Your privacy is important to me and I will never sell, trade, nor otherwise divulge your information to anyone. Please list each item you want separately, and indicate your choice of finish (waxed, gold-painted, or silver-painted) as well as any requests for inscriptions. Total the amount of your order. If your order is shipped to North Carolina, you must add 7% of the total for state sales tax. Please make your check or money order payable to John L. If you're placing a custom order, it can take six to eight weeks to make it for you, depending upon the number of orders ahead of you, so a personal check will be just as efficient.
