Sara Sullivan (4) (1777-1843), born April 9, 1777, died December 2 1843, married March 20, 1794 to John Godfrey, born August 13, 1766, died August 16, 1823.

They had 8 children:

1 - Amy Godfrey	born June 14, 1797, died July 15, 1831, married Samuel Goggans;
2 - John Godfrey, Jr.	born September 19, 1802, died September 10, 1844, married Emily Teague (1806-1847);
3 - Elizabeth Godfrey	born December 11, 180? (part missing) married Wyatt Waldrop, Jr., (1802-1844);
4 - James S. Godfrey	born July 10, 1807, married Elizabeth McCoy;
5 - Sarah Ann Godfrey	born February 18, 1810, died July 4, 1829, married Henery Craddock;
6 - Mary Godfrey	born February 16, 1812, married John Burrell;
7 - William Godfrey	born December 21, 1814, died May 31, 1825;
8 - Mecky Perrin Godfrey	born February 26, 1818.

Her father was James Sullivan (5) (?-?) Revolutionary War Veteran, of Laurens, SC, bought land in Laurens County in 1781. Married 1st, Meta Boling; 2nd, Sara Harrison Choice.
