Married July 13, 1851 Caroline Bennett (2), born September 20, 1837 in Forsyth Co., Georgia, died April 30, 1926 in Dawson Co, Georgia.

Caroline Bennett's father was Elijah Bennett (3) (1789 - ?), born in South Carolina, and her mother was Edney Pruitt (3) (1792 - ?).

Edney Pruitt's father was Daniel Ocuatt Pruitt (4) (1760 - ?), born in South Carolina, and her mother was Mary Linney (4) (1770 - ?), born in South Carolina.
