Happy Spring! (03/20/2001 10:44 EST) It's spring!

Of course, you can't really tell that this morning. It's in the 30s and raining and we just missed snow by a few miles, it seems. As much as I would have enjoyed one last snowfall, I'm ready for warm weather and the opportunity to spend longer days in my smithy.

We have buds showing up on the blueberries, peach trees, and other plants, and there are tiny little leaves just showing on the peach trees.

Of course, that means it's nearly hay-fever time, but that's a small price to pay for SPRING! The jonquils and daffodils are bright and shiny and it won't be long before the other flowers follow their lead.
