Webnovice.com's CyberBabble Decoder. (12/19/2000 00:29 EST) WebNovice is a good site for folks who are relatively new to their computers and the Internet. One of the features I really like is their CyberBabble Decoder. Here's their description of it:
"The Internet is overrun with what we at WebNovice refer to as CyberBabble -- those cryptic terms, acronyms and jargon new Internet users find difficult to understand. This Decoder was created as a place where new Netizens can easily find the meaning of these words, terms and acronyms. Although some of these words can have complicated definitions, the CyberBabble Decoder makes them as simple as possible for you to understand. "
"In some instances it might help that you know the meaning of one term or word in order to better understand the meaning of another. In cases like this, links to corresponding words or terms will appear in the definition of the related terms. Just click on the highlighted word to go to the related term"
** JD ** 12:34:45 AMSBA's Business Card Database. (12/19/2000 00:11 EST) I just discovered a business card database at the Small Business Administration. This database is searchable and you can add your own business card information, if you'd like. It's easy to do, takes a couple of minutes, and adds one more link back to your website and business.
