Last two weeks to order steel roses this year! Notice: I'll be accepting orders for steel roses for only two more weeks this year. The last day to order one this year is December 15, 2000. Orders placed after today may or may not arrive before Christmas. I will not be accepting orders for steel roses for the months of January and February, 2001. If you'd like one before spring, feel free to email me at wizard@grove.net and I'll put you on the list to contact on March 1, 2001, after which I'll be accepting orders, again. As always, first paid, first shipped. I don't do rush orders and you can't break in line.
There's only enough time to make a very few roses before the end of the year. There will be very limited availability until next spring. If you want one, don't delay.
** JD ** 1:29:20 PMSteel Roses Shirt, Mug and Mousepad Store. CafePress.com offers a way for you to sell t-shirts, mugs, and mousepads with your design (logo, product, website URL, photograph, or whatever else you want) in low quantaties at good prices. Of course, you can find lower prices if you're willing to buy dozens or hundreds, but this company lets you sell as few as one item, plus they handle all the production, sales and delivery for you and you can optionally receive a commission for each item sold. If you want to purchase for yourself, you can purchase any quantity at your wholesale cost, in case you want to give the products to your friends, relatives, or valued customers.
I'm testing this by creating a store featuring products with pictures of my hand-forged steel roses on them. I think you might want to look into this service if you have a product, service, or company you'd like to promote. First of all, the site is free and will have a link back to your website. Secondly, it offers another venue to show off your product -- or whatever you want to show. Third, you may make some income if folks purchase the items. Fourth, if anyone clicks on the free store banner at the bottom of your store page and create a store of their own, you'll receive a commission from each sale on their site, and this affiliate structure goes four levels deep.
You could also purchase a few of these and sell them in your store or at a show.
Again, you can find better prices if you buy many products, but this is the best I've found for low quantity purchases. Their products are first rate. T-shirts and sweatshirts are made by Haynes. The mugs are ceramic. The mousepad has a higher-quality canvas surface on a rubber backing, rather than being one of those hard pads with a slick top. You can set your prices at any point above the base price. Offer them at wholesale to advertise your business, or add a surcharge to earn some income from each sale.
I think this is a good opportunity, and I'll be creating several stores over the next few weeks. At this time, you can only offer one design in each store, but you can create multiple stores if you have more than one design you'd like to sell.
It won't cost you anything to click on the title link and see for yourself. If you'd like a store of your own, just scroll to the bottom of my store and click on the link. It won't cost a single penny to set it up. Oh, yeah! Feel free to buy one of my fine shirts, mugs, or mousepads with a picture of my handmade, one-of-a-kind steel roses on it. ;^)
** JD ** 1:19:59 PMT-shirt Store at CafePress. CafePress.com has a four-tier affiliate program that you can join for free. You can create and sell T-Shirts, mugs, mousepads and more with your own designs on them. You can just upload a picture, and CafePress creates a complete store-front - completely FREE. It's really easy and doesn't take long - plus it's a lot of fun. Try it out by clicking on the title. If you visit CafePress.com through that link, I'll get credit in their referral program, which is a good thing. Anyone who creates a store based on your referral, and they automatically add one at the bottom of each store you create, becomes a subaffiliate. More details are available on their referral program page.
